Sazaro / ANSWER

Static or video ads on Meta?

Both can work. For most small stores, static ads are the faster, cheaper way to learn which selling angle carries before you spend on video.

Short answer: start with static ads when you need many different concepts quickly and cheaply. Add video once you know which angle and message work — then production or UGC pays for itself more often.

What learning actually costs

In testing you mostly pay for wrong angles, wrong promises and wrong audiences. A static creative costs less per piece, so the same budget covers more concepts. Talent or production video at the same concept volume gets expensive fast.

When static wins

  • you need new concepts every week;
  • budget is limited and you first need to hear what buyers respond to;
  • you have solid product photos and a clear offer;
  • you already run campaigns and only need fresh creatives.

When video

When an angle is proven, when the product must be shown in use, or when UGC clearly beats stills in your account. Video is not a “professionalism” checkbox; it is a dearer format for a message you already understand.

FAQ

Do static Meta ads still work?

Yes, for concept testing and for stores that need creative volume. Meta still serves statics in Feed, Stories and other placements.

Do I need video to compete?

Not by itself. You need clear concepts first. Video helps when you know what to prove on camera.

What is cheaper per test?

Usually a static series: more concepts for the same budget. Video makes sense once you are not guessing the message.

Does Sazaro make video?

No. Packs are static ads only, in 1:1 and 4:5.

What do Sazaro statics cost?

Start €149 / 20 creatives, Test €199 / 30, Scale €299 / 50, optional −15% on a weekly subscription. Prices exclude VAT; no monthly contract.
