Sazaro / RESULTS

Results need context.

A high ROAS without cost data is only part of the story. This is how I document an engagement and its business results.

What a case study should show

  1. Baseline: offer, market, period, and data quality.
  2. Challenge: the specific constraint being tested.
  3. Changes: campaigns, creative tests, and improvements to the path to purchase.
  4. Results: revenue, costs, new customers, returns, and agreed definitions.
  5. Limits: seasonality, attribution, and changes the test cannot isolate.
  6. Lesson: what can inform the next test.

Verified data before publication

I publish a case only after checking source data and obtaining the client's permission. Anonymization must preserve useful context without exposing sensitive information. A before-and-after comparison alone does not prove that the work caused the entire difference.

No verified case studies are currently published here. Calculation examples elsewhere on the site are illustrations, not achieved client results.

How to assess an advertising result

Compare the same period, consistent revenue definitions, and the same costs. Separate platform attribution from order records. Check whether growth comes from new customers, repeat purchases, or existing demand.

ROAS and unit economics explains the method in more detail.
